Life is a Highway

Isn’t it? The endless roads that stretch from coast to coast. Lengthy, with a potential uncertainty. Always with someone behind, along or ahead of you. No matter how many people you overtake, there will always be a new commuter driving ahead of you. Life, certainly, is like a drive on a highway.

While on a journey, you never know what your destination will look like or how you will be until and when you are there. You never know how much traffic and how many diversions you are going to meet. You never know if the route that you are on will lead you exactly where you want to go or will mislead you. You never know if you will meet rain or a storm midway or if it’s going to be a smooth one.

Life is a highway like a road you travel on. It moves quickly, like a patch of road goes by in an instant when driving. Life, likewise, is so quick that we can lose any moment any instant. Cherishing everything to it’s fullest is a good idea. Life, just like a highway, is sometimes curvy and sometimes smooth. It doesn’t matter how many curves come ahead of you, they smooth out if you know how to bend. No matter how many people you overtake, life will always serve you with a new challenge.

Yes, sometimes the road is rough because life is no joke – it’s real. Light still weaves in if you are determined. Life can be as rocky as a rocky trial, sometimes the relationships and companions will hurt you. But you also know that everybody has flaws, including you. Try to overcome the obstacles to make your journey on the highway easier for you. Take whatever life throws at you as you want – challenge or fate – but with grace. Keep moving because it’s your attitude in life that matters the most.

It’s never how early or late you arrive at your destination that matters, but what matters, in the end, is how much you enjoyed the drive. Taking the ups and downs of life with a good hardy attitude is what matters. Again, life can be very unpredictable with its twists and turns. Regardless of this, we should keep driving forward. Follow the course of action that is the most moral and right one, the one least likely to harm or unsettle people around you.
