Finding Joy in Living Lighter

Living lighter is a liberation of mind, body, and spirit. When you learn to live lighter, you step into a journey of transformation. You learn to heal, nourish, and nurture yourself by creating boundaries and establishing wholesome relationships with things around you.

When you start to live lighter you declutter your ‘life and mind’ and make room for more. When you declutter your mind, you make room for more focus, more wisdom, more time, and most importantly, more life. Whether it’s your home or mind, decluttering is always soothing and has positive effects on your overall health. In this chaotic world where more is deemed basic and less, one should try to find joy in living lighter.

Normalizing living less leads towards self-satisfaction and mind’s freedom. It’s not just about having less stuff around you, it’s more of believing that it’s alright and normal to have less information, less control over things, less over-thinking, less generalisations, less pressurisings, less judgment, less remembering, and less doing. With less always comes the freedom of letting go (unnecessary thoughts, useless processings). And most of the contentment in your life comes when you have the courage to let things go.

Living less is not just about trimming down the jumble of things around you, but mainly the clutter in your head. And then with less in your life comes less stress, less distraction, less anxiety, and less everything. And this ‘less’ then aids you in finding the ‘joy’ in your life that your mind, body, and spirit yearns for.
